Landau Elementary School
Landau Elementary School is located in Cathedral City, a community adjacent to Palm Springs. As one of the fifteen elementary schools in the Palm Springs Unified School District, Landau serves approximately 830 students in grades preschool through five, in regular education and special education settings. Landau opened in September, 1988, and operated on a year-round, multi-track system until 2006. Currently, Landau is a single-track year-round school with breaks for students in July, November, and March. Landau school staff, students, and families are proud to be part of the "No Excuses University" network of schools, with the highest commitment to student achievement and improvement coupled with partnerships with universities and no excuses for not keeping one's commitments.×
